Description

Experience Level: Intermediate
On-site risk assessment (medical practice, central London) and support, including:

1. Prepare and implement the Company Safety Policy

2. Carry out risk assessments, method statements and procedures for all areas of risk, including use of sharps, storage of prescription medication, fire, major incidents, manual handling, PPE, use of equipment e.g. treadmills, DSE etc

3. Arrange periodic inspection and testing and remedial works as identified e.g. lifting equipment, electrical installations, portable appliance testing (PAT) etc

4. Provide written documentation and evidence by way of a Health and Safety Manual to be kept on site including fire alarm, emergency light testing records etc

5. To act as H & S Advisor both internally and for external Enforcing Authorities and/or auditors e.g. HSE, Care Quality Commission and Accreditating bodies

6. Communication with landlords/superior landlords for areas under their control which may include; testing and inspection of passenger lifts, L8 control oflegionella, fire and major incidents, electrical installations testing to the point of electrical metre, gas etc
