General Spec……….
- Creation of a GUI from GRIB data

- Graphs showing • winds, waves and pressure synoptic chart*
- Plotting of “virtual buoy” locations using latitude and longitude based on long term forecast • 7 days minimum • ideally 10 days
- Calling FTP server x4 (timed) in 24hrs
- x30 locations
- All must reside on my server as a fully working application
- GUI to show UK map & regional map
Examples of data sought and more project information available on request and the return of the nda.
* We also want to generate pressure charts, simlar-ish to: http://www.infomet.fcr.es/metoffice/mosaic.html
Java is written into the spec only because that is what is perceived to be needed, if you can achieve the same goals / GUI with different mark-up languages then so much the better.
