Description
I am writing a book that tells the story of a boy from birth, while in parallel looking at what happens in the world of angels and demons and how they try to affect the boy. Nearest description would be Harry Potter meets This Present Darkness (Frank Peretti).
I am looking for Christian graphic designer to work with me on the design for the book cover and basic design for the website.
To bid for this work, you must understand the biblical concepts of demons and angels. Applicants must be based in UK or USA.

Hi. I'm a confirmed atheist, but I know more about the Christian and Islamic faiths than most religious people I've met, and i enjoy reading about religion. I'm qualified for this job, and highly professional. Would you be willing to change your requirements? (I actually think they may be illegal anyway so you may want to look into it)

Must be a 'born again Christian'?
Sorry, how exactly does my 'lack of belief' mean that I am not able to do this job properly? I'm pretty sure this is discriminatory - I'll be seeking advice from PPH on this matter.Paul E.16 May 2017This is not about discrimination but bout finding someone who knows the market I am aiming at. This book is aimed at the Christian market place, so a Christian is more likely to portray the image in a relevant way to my target market.
Would it be discrimination if I wanted a website designed for smoking paraphernalia and said I wanted somebody who smokes?Richard B.16 May 2017Hey, I am an atheist. But you know what, if I wanted to get a book cover designed for a magazine about evolution or secularism or whatever, I'd never insist that ONLY a secular person could or should design it. It's called discrimination, however you wanna dress it up.

Hi Paul, I do believe that your requirement that the designer be a born again christian is discrimination, and therefore illegal.
Paul E.16 May 2017The same as other person who asked this.
