Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
Information for the business: A well known household name (FMCG food category)
Industry: Food and Beverage
Design details: Hello to all people who actually enjoy delivering fun and thoughtful graphic design!
I am creating a global toolkit for a well known household food brand and need to partner with someone who can design the items listed below while taking into consideration the following:
Considerations:
- we will be working to their brand guidelines, so weaving in visual cues from their brand for the non-branded items is essential, and strictly following the brand guidelines for the branded items is really important!
- timeline: we are working to a 1.5 week turnaround with items needed by 15 July (client go ahead expected next tuesday) - so it works out to be about GBP 200-250 per day - however, the output is the most important, not the time, which is why I'm paying a flat rate versus a daily fee.
- each of these will be delivered as graphic files for local PR agencies and marketing teams to tailor to their local language and print out in-situ.
- the client is on a 60 day payment cycle which begins on the day we invoice (after delivery) so both of us need to wait the 60 days to receive payment (although I have worked with them quite a bit and they are reliable, however they are a massive company, which means payment is a bit slower)
- you will need to sign a non-disclosure agreement, and as the launch is not until much later, these items can't be included in your portfolio or credentials until August 2016 (unfortunately not even to show potential clients as samples of your work). Unfortunately, this is a non-negotiable.
DELIVERABLES (although this may change early next week depending on which creative route the client goes for)
1. 4 x post card-size infographics (ideally when they're arranged they would fit together to create one bigger A4 infographic with a message in the middle)
2. 1 x event invitation
3. 1 x package design (a box that can be used to deliver food samples to journalists)
4. An A4 magazine advertorial template
5. A graphic file for event signage
I really look forward to hearing from you and hope you can provide some samples of work that speaks to the brief!
Kind regards
Sarah
Target audience: Journalists
Content on the front/back side and body: Logo, written word, graphics design (for infographic), copy and image sourcing for advertorial
Ideas for the visual style: Naturals (as they relate to food), so conveying earthy wholsome natural ingredients is important. However a we're working on a product within a very well known brand - so we need to work with pretty strict guidelines.
Extra notes: Just a quick reminder that the payment is unfortunately 60 days after we invoice the client.
Ways of working:
- i really prefer a collaborative approach (providing works in progress) because time is short, we need to nail the design fairly quickly and I'll be working on content as you create the look and feel!
- we would probably have a kick off call so I can brief you, along with 1 or 2 catch ups
- if you can get it done in a few days, fantastic - it's not paid by time but by the output and I'm really hoping to knock their socks off!
