Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Design details: We are looking for a freelancer with garden landscaping experience to help us fully redesign the small patio of our flat. We want to upgrade the fencing, potentially the decking, add/replace some furniture and make it a smarter design overall with a better use of space. In two words, transform what we have at the moment into something stylish. We're looking for someone able to come up with original ideas, provide a detailed layout and also 3D rendering.
Here are a few (high level) ideas on top of the pictures attached:
- keen to put a higher and sturdier fence that what we have now, with climbing plants on a portion of it at least (need to consider sun orientation for that I think)
- the decking we have now is very slippery when wet, we are keen to have something safer as a replacement, or fully remove it
- for the sitting/dining area, we would like to keep the modular sofa we have (see pictures). We currently put all the parts together and put a cover on it after use.. it doesn't look so great but probably the only solution here, to be discussed
- overall design needs to be baby/child proof, also leaving some free decking space for a child to play on the deck during summer
- we need a small storage area to replace the plastic storage bench you'll see on the picture
- keen to consider a wall mounted canopy sun shade on the wall, and also some outdoor lighting options (although there is no power outlet outside, so maybe battery operated is enough)
very happy to have a skype/facetime session to show the patio 'live' to give you a better idea!
Thanks !
Micha
Ideas for the visual style: sleek, stylish, modern design. all materials welcome
