Description
Experience Level: Expert
v1.0 of the app will include the following functionality:
1. Around 30 information pages using UINavigationConrollers. 5 separate sections with around 6 pages on each. Page text should be attributed, perhaps using UIWebView following basic Heading, Body and attributed body (bullet points, numbering etc) structure. All controllers will have the same top toolbar with a font size button to toggle the font size of the text and a home button to pop to the main menu screen. Section 4 will contain a flow diagram (can be image) where the user can click on a flow diagram box to take them through to the next screen.
2. iAd / AdMob advertising (shared instance across all ViewControllers).
3. Glossary Session downloadable from the internet. (section built already).
4. Push Notifications (built already using Parse)
We have built an iOS prototype that shows the look and feel & can be reused.
We are based in SW London but can meet to show prototype on weekday evenings & weekends. Would like to start asap.
Future work:
1. v2 will include largely increased functionality to be discussed at a later date.
2. Later versions to also include language translations.
3. An iPad version will be built and released.
4. Android Versions to be released for tablet & phone.
Detailed information on v1.0:
1. Admob (or alternative) & iAd build required.
- Needs to be one instance that is overlayed onto the view.
- iAd preferred with AdMod (something else) as a backup option.
- iAd BannerViews should appear on all screens from the top - pushing the other content down once loaded.
2. Push Notifications - to be implemented using Parse, unless better alternative is known.
3. Graphics to be provided by us (splash screen, app icon etc).
4. Change layout of screens to meet the following criteria:
Main Menu
1. iPhone 5 - buttons should remain same size & fit on one screen without requiring scrolling.
2. iPhone 4 - buttons should reduce slightly in size & fit on one screen without requiring scrolling.
Please refer to Functional Spec for more information.
