Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for an experienced person to work with us on a part time basis to look after the day to day running of the Company finances.
Responsibilities will include:
• Sales ledger - invoicing of projects and ensuring prompt payment through credit control activities
• Purchase ledger - processing purchase ledger invoices and dealing with supplier queries
• Providing accurate detailed cash-flow projections
• Administering the Company bank accounts, including reconciling the bank and setting up payments for Director approval
• Reconciling cash and credit card transactions
• Production of regular management information
• Production of draft accounts annual accounts
• Processing monthly payroll
• Producing quarterly VAT returns
• As requsted, assisting in the process of developing and reviewing budgets on projects
• Ensure all finance records are kept accurately and securely and in line with legislative requirements
The right candidate is likely to have experience of working in a professional/creative services background, be able to work of their own initiative and be have strong communication skills. The skills of applying creative approaches to issues such as credit control and budgetary control would also be a distinct advantage.
