Description
Experience Level: Expert
General information for the website: Facebook API Tool
Num. of web pages/modules: 1
Description of requirements/features: What I need is a system that pulls data from Facebook and puts it into SQL.
The system will work by having a place where I can add page IDs of Facebook pages as the first step. Then the tool will use this list of page IDs to automatically look at those pages everyday and capture the user IDs of everyone who has engaged (commented, liked, or shared) a post from that page on that day. So in theory we'll have two tables in SQl - one showing page ids, page names of those to be crawled each day, and one showing page id, post id, date, post text, and user ids.
I can show you table layout preferred when selected.
Extra notes: I want to know why you can do this, how quickly, and previous experience if possibe. I'm not worried how it's built as long as it's server side, scalable, and not going to break anything! I don't want to have to schedule chron jobs or anything like that though - this should manage itself.
