Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am a hobby stock trader, primarily on the Canadian stock market, TSX and TSXV.
From time to time I see publicly traded stocks that have price movements related to their financing and deals activities or other material changes of the company.
When I see these type of movements of the stocks I am following, I need someone to explain to me what creates these movements.
For example ACB on TSXV had a type of private placement announced on January 24, 2017 and the price dropped the next day. Previous weeks the stock had pushed up. This appears to be a predictable scenario. What causes these type of movements?
I am open to discuss an ongoing type of arrangement for this type of ongoing advice.
