About the role:
An exciting and challenging Experiential event management position has arisen for an organised and motivated event marketer, offering excellent exposure and career development working with some of the world's most famous brands in skincare, FMCG, alcohol and more.
Note: There will not be a long induction period, the successful candidate will go straight into management of campaigns and should be able to learn and be trained 'on the job'
Purpose of the role:
- The role will be responsible for logistics planning and coordinating the events as a whole around the UK.
- Working with the Staffing Manager to identify potential issues and solutions
- Developing the supplier database and negotiating best rates and payment terms
- Designing and managing schedules and time plans
- Preparing internal and client reports
- Inspire the motivation of external suppliers and event staff in delivering innovative and high quality output to support the experiential brand performance objectives.
- taking full responsibility for the success of Experiential Events
- Overseeing the staffing managers progress and monitoring their work
- Build an effective and constant relationship with client teams, commercial and supply teams and leverage this in the achievement of the organisation's objectives.
- Onsite visits and overseeing production and execution
Principle accountabilities:
1. Lead staffing team and work with planning team on experiential strategy planning & manage event budgets. Deliver the logistic plan flawlessly. Manage metrics and campaign performance, resolving risks and identifying opportunities.
2. Develop compelling and realistic plans for experiential consumer communications for brands and agencies. Within this develop a plan that ensures flawless execution.
3. Create the conditions for people to succeed - be an inspirational line manager and coach to people underneath you.
4. Research space hires and permits across the UK
5. Develop innovative production strategies and learn about different materials and options
Qualifications & experience required:
- Experience in experiential marketing
- Experience managing teams
- Managing external agencies and suppliers
- Developing and delivering briefs
- Project Management and time management
- Solid inter-personal skills and ability to work well within teams or independently
- Problem solving attitude, willing to go the extra mile to ensure flawless execution
- Fully familiar and comfortable with Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Salary: £1400 per month plus bonuses to start
Potentially this position could become permanent; if so there will be a salary review with potential raises every 3 months for the first year then annually after the first year.
As a growing small company there are opportunities to progress quickly into a more senior role
