Experience Level: Expert
Hello,
Hope you are well.
Are you in a position to take on a new mid length .NET project?
I am looking for a development partner to help me create the new version of a game I created: http://www.pcboxing.com
The current version was created (badly!) by myself and my skills cannot stretch to create the game that I am sure would be easy for an experienced developer. I have feedback from hundred of users relating to feature request and hopefully, with your help and my professional project management skills, we can create a version worthy of worldwide release.
Ideally I would like the redevelopment to happen in a steady fashion and in bitesize pieces but with an agreement to complete all stages. I.e:
- Month 1: Gameplan. Review current game code, development notes, ask any questions, bat around ideas, agree requirements and resolve plan.
- Month 2: Get the 'once round'. This is a term I use to signify the game building the database, taking the player game name, setting game parameters, loading up and advancing one day on the game calendar.
- Month 3/4/5: The devils in. The Design phase the game working in all the details required and play-testing at regular intervals. May also include making mini-games to test features or ideas as you see fit.
- Month 6: Lock 'n load. Wrap up loose ends, test across platforms create installer and in-game purchasing system.
The chosen coder will be required to sign a Non Disclosure and Intellectual Property assignment agreement to cover the exposure of the existing code and assign ownership of the source code once produced. They will also be able to provide regular communication and updates when required.
I’m looking to pay around £125 per month / £750 total. In this current climate I won’t be able to commit to much more. Having said that, if you would be willing to be involved in the future of the game after the release, then a future profit share would be appropriate. Hopefully I can find someone to not only share in the build of the new version but to help me take the series forward in the future.
All the best,
Anthony
