Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am currently building an Excel spreadsheet and simply need experienced guidance on macros and especially charts (and the data manipulation needed to populate the charts) such that I can finish it myself. This \"guidance\" would consist of samples I could then emulate.
Specifically I need:
1. Development of a bar chart
- That represents nine data types
- Where some of the data are represented as markers on the bars
- Where one of the bars needs to be of a different colour than the others
- Can use a macro to organise the information as need be
2. Ensuring that the data for the chart are organised as need be onto an intermediary tab (as the data input tabs are being kept separate)
- Unique values copied on this intermediary tab (macro written but has a glitch I have yet to resolve)
- Data corresponding to these unique values to populate the tab (possibly IF / VLOOKUP formulae already being written but support or QA may be useful)
- Possible support on macros used to sort and prepare the data for the charts
Note: the amount of input data is expected to vary greatly (although the data types will remain the same)
Development should be transparent enough to allow one to create about 30 variations of the chart.
