Description
Description of excel work: I need a formula writing to calculate eBay Buy-It-Now price taking into account item cost price, ebay fees, paypal fees, paypal fixed fee, packaging cost, shipping cost to give a markup % for example 30% The complicated part is that ebay and Paypal fees are based on the sales price including UK Tax at 20% but cost prices exclude tax
Here is some sample data:
Cost price excluding tax = £10.00
Packaging = £0.45
Shipping = £2.80
Ebay fees = 8.5%
PayPal fees = 1.9%
PayPal fixed fee = £0.20
Target profit = 30%
I want a spreadsheet where I can import in bulk, rows of SKU’s with cost price, packaging cost, Shipping cost, and a formula to calculate BIN Price in 3 columns with different values, Minimum 20% profit, ideal 35% Profit and Maximum 50% Profit.

Okay James,
Your spreadsheet has three percentages.
1. 20% (Calculated to be 24.27)
2. 35% (Calculated to be 27.31)
3. 50% (Calculated to be 30.34)
If these figures are accurate and you would like me to submit a proposal could you advise me of the price you had in mind.

Good evening James,
Is your company VAT registered?James H.20 Jun 2016Hi, Yes we are VAT registered. Ebay and PayPal fees are charged on the full and final selling price which includes VAT. This is where I find it a bit difficult, you have to try and work backwards from the starting point which is the unknown.
Regards JamesTony H.20 Jun 2016Thanks for the info James.
Do you amend your prices to ensure you remain competitive, or are your prices static based on the profit you will make?
The reason I ask is that I used to run the Wicken4x4 ebay store and I would constantly monitor the prices to drive sales.
Regards
Tony H
