Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I have two people with a 6 month old baby living in a static caravan (owned by me) on my small holding property.
They moved in around March/April 2017.
They have paid nothing towards the static other than rent.
There is no written contract.
They pay £200 per month towards rent and supplement the the rest by working for me such as feeding animals, mowing the lawn etc, (these duties have not always been done to the agreed level which has been acknowledged by the tennant)
They get water, broadband included
They have not been invoiced by me or paid for their electric yet
I have offered use of my washing machine and tumble dryer during their time here which they have used.
All utility’s come from the main house and not direct from the supplier ( it is though they are plugged into my house)
The problem
I wanted to move the static that they live in 100meters to another site on my land (all expenses paid by me), this was met by a response that they would not move.
I then said that if they would not move then they would have to leave my property to which they replied “you try and make us”
So I would now like them to leave my static home and land.
I have offered that they can purchase (no price has been discussed) the static to site somewhere other than my land.
Where do I stand?
Can I stop supplying them with water, electric, broadband?
Can I stop them accessing my land
Etc?
Also they have told me that the female has inherited £70k and her partner has told me that they have put an offer on a flat, so they would have somewhere to live or the finances to rent/buy.
