WHO ARE WE
We are a small, personable but experienced event management company based in Farnham, Surrey. We've been going since 2003 and like most other organisations, the past year has opened up a few gaps in the sales book which we are seeking to fill, and of course develop our business further.
THE OPPORTUNITY
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a freelance event sales professional to come on board for a short time as a telesales/marketer, tasked with calling established and prospective clients selling the company, and our services, and securing appointments wtih a view to secure new events. Dependent on the success of this particular project, and the levels of business secured, there is huge potential for the particular freelancer to obtain flexible long term working arrangements not only in the sales development, but also the operational delivery of events.
MAIN DUTIES
-To work with current databases (various formats) and make contact to introduce and sell our event management services
-To increase awareness of our business and services
-To carry out research to identify new clients and events
-To secure appointments for Managing Director, and Business Manager to visit prospective clients
-To provide detailed reports as requested
SKILLS REQUIRED
-Strong background in telesales/telemarketing ideally in events industry
-Evidence of sales skills
-Ideally operational experience of Awards ceremonies, conferences and parties
-Computer literate
-Excellent administrative skills
TERMS
Flexible and negotiable.
You will be working from our office in Farnham, we are happy to discuss days and hours of work.
We are able to reward a basic salary for a experienced telemarketer together with commissionable payments based on a number of other factors.
