Hi, I\'m just looking for someone to write a letter in my name on my behalf to an awarding body in relation to my A-level Physics exam.
The matter is quite involved, but basically it\'s all to do with a college refusing to allow me to do A-level physics with them on grounds that they did not believe I could achieve a better grade than what I already had before being diagnosed as dyslexic. After that the situation relates to the harassment and abuse I was subjected to at two other colleges and an awarding body which, it would collectively seem was all directed towards ensuring I didn\'t actually achieve a better grade in my Physics. Although it\'s all documented to form a chronology of information, I would still need to fill you in by way of some explanation to ensure everything was included in the letter.
However, the situation I refer to took place several years ago, back in 2000/01. The last communication in connection with this matter, from either the awarding body or the college was in 2002. Overall, the time that has lapsed is mainly owing to the nature of the situation in terms of the harassment and abuse that I was continually subjected to at such a critical time and my ability to confront this since. Moreover, I have only recently become conscious of what I was put through and realise this could not be normal professionalism nor only maladministration, but a case of harassment directed towards insuring I did not achieve a better A-level Physics grade. There is considerable documentation, aprox 8mm thick, that I can methodically lead through that would enable anyone who’s prepared to help arrive at this conclusion.
However, at the moment I am just looking for someone to either draft or write a polite letter on my behalf to the awarding body (AQA) detailing a chronology of the situation with specific reasons and the questions that arise that would conclude this to be a case malice and harassment which, ultimately had an adverse affect in both my exam preparation and A-level results. Another important fact is that when I didn’t take the Physics again, I achieved a grade A in Mathematics, when I only enrolled for this less than a month before the actual examination, whilst Physics has always been the stronger of my 2 A-levels. Again there is documentation to support this.
I would also mention that prior to this situation and before being diagnosed as dyslexic, I had taken various exams at different centres and also requested varying post examination enquiries, but had never encountered any such difficulties, as I did further to being refused admission by Lorreto college on the basis that staff did not believe I could achieve a better grade in A-level physics.
Further to the matter at the Lorreto College, everyone subsequently involved in the situation as I have very briefly outlined, were people whom I had never previously met seen or spoken to and thus cannot see any explanation for what I have been put through. At the time I did write to the awarding body whom acknowledged my complaint but did not respond. Contact was also made with Examination Appeals Board (EAB) by way of a detailed letter wrote to South Trafford College. The (EAB) response via the college was confined to the marking of the scripts, and was concluded with it being futile’ to proceed further with the matter. I also wrote to the awarding body\'s regulator, The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) who initially acknowledged the complaint by advising this would be included in awarding body’s audit, but the later advised there was nothing they could do.
However, I can provide any further information required and look forward to receiving a response to this project.
