Estimated project duration: 1 - 6 months
Expatica is looking for an editorial intern, for a period of at least four months, to work on all Expatica country sites. The position involves both technical and creative aspects associated with the imaging side of online publishing. A multi-skilled candidate that can work with computer management systems and images is therefore preferred.
If you are creative and accurate, have a good eye for images and an interest in online researching and publishing, then Expatica could be a positive step in your career path.
Primary responsibilities:
• A commitment to work 40 hours per week.
• Select, edit, and publish relevant images.
• Research image licences.

Expatica Communications B.V. is a media company that began in 2000 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. It started as a news and information site for internationals and quickly expanded to encompass a much broader resource for internationals living abroad. Within a few years of its origination, Expatica also expanded geographically to 10 other countries that include Belgium, France, Spain, Germany, UK, Portugal, Moscow, Luxemburg, Switzerland and South Africa.
Requirements:
• English speaker (not necessarily native).
• Strong aptitude for working with photos and videos.
• Active on the web (social communities, forums, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc).
• The ability to work independently and in a team.
• Accurate, dependable and responsible.
• You are a student and officially registered as such.

• Works in the Netherlands or a maximum of 2 hours away from CET time zone
