Description
The Association for Coaching global magazine 'Coaching Perspectives' is published online every quarter. We aim for 'Coaching Perspectives' to be stimulating, thought-provoking, global in reach and mindset, pioneering and accessible.
The Editorial Assistant will join the existing Editorial Team: Hetty Einzig, Editor, Deputy Editor Sue Stockdale and Sub-Editor Sally Phillips, Designer Martin Williamson.
The EA will undertake editorial work on submitted contributions as requested by the Editor and Deputy Editor, and assist the team with proofing and copy-editing magazine contributions as required. The EA will have experience of digital publication platforms. They will lead on our Social Media presence in liaison with the Marketing Team.
This is a self-employed, part-time role, paid on an hourly basis. The Editorial Team, except the designer, all work on a voluntary basis and each has their own paid employment. The EA must therefore be prepared to work and be contactable outside standard hours - including occasional weekend and evening contact - at key times of the production programme. We estimate that the EA will need to be available for approximately 16 hours per month or approximately 50 hours per quarterly issue.
Line management will be the Editor (Hetty Einzig).
Please see attached word document for full role description. Deadline for applications is 21st February 2017, interviewing will be from the second week of March onwards.
