I am nearing the end of a project which is due to go live in a few weeks. I need to outsource some of the remaining module development which consists of creating patches for existing modules.
Initially there wont be a great deal of work, but...
We will be looking to build a future relationship with a developer/team of developers for a large ongoing contract for work including-
Drupal module development (including optimising)
LAMP administration ( including optimisation)
SEO & marketing
mobile development
If a candidate is selected for the current job post, and we are 100% happy with the work done and can build a trusting relationship then you may also be considered for all or some of the above future work.
For the above work we MUST trust you 100%, you MUST be a drupal expert and you MUST be expert in administering a highly performant LAMP stack.
For more information please contact me or make a bid for the initial work.
Initial work includes:
Task 1: Integrate Taguser module and Activity module (version 2). TagUser has a couple of triggers that i\'m interested in: \'user tagged someone\' and \'user tagged themself\'. By integrating this module with Activity, when these hooks are triggered, activity messages should be generated.
Task 2: Add jquery expand/collapse to a user relationships block. Currently there is a default block (UR: Actions) which shows a list of relationships that you can add/remove from other users. If you have several relationship types then this can take up valuable space on the page. What I would like is for a single link in the block saying something like \'Show relationship options\' and after the link is clicked the list of options expands below it.
Task 3: Create patch for \'User Relationships Node Access\' module (the altered version found on http://drupal.org/node/764872). The current module works fine for single nodes, however, I am using the Node Gallery module (version 3), where an album is a node and each of its images are also nodes. What I would like is for the user to set the node access for the album node and have that same access rule applied of all image nodes related to that album.
Task 4: A simple task, create a page which allows users to set the visibility of blocks on their user profile page. There will be a form for each block, each form will consist of 3 radio buttons (Everyone, no-one, friends), if \'friends\' is selected then a list of check boxes will appear for each of the relationship types. The page will save the settings in the DB, the blocks will then use this data to determine whether they are visible or not. Only one example is required, as I can repeat for all necessary blocks.
More tasks are likely to be added to this in the short term.
