Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: 1 day or less
Looking for intelligent audio transcription (no pauses, hiatus, plus removal of introductory, irrelevant, or conversational material, etc) of a digital audio file from a professional interview with two sets of two lawyers each.
The first is with Stephen Wu (male, speaks first) and the second Michelle Lowery (female, speaks second) and is on antitrust issues.
The second is with Paul Devinsky (US lawyer, speaks first) and Jay Reiziss (ditto, speaks second). I am the English interviewer.
There is no need to transcribe my questions in either dictation.
There are two tapes of 14 minutes and 28 minutes duration respectively.
Audio quality is good, but audibility varies. Seeking best endeavours on transcription- material that is difficult/impossible to transcribe can be ignored. In short, if you can't hear it after listening twice, move on.
I identify the various speakers on the transcription as above. Answers only to be recorded.
Use of a secure Dropbox facility is mandatory for the job to ensure file transfer.
Dictation is of a professional services (legal) interview on competition law and class actions (Tape 1) and US International Trade Commission (ITC) law (Tape 2). Use best endeavours for transcription.
Quick turnaround required. Transcription to MS Word required. Material is of professional media/journalism variety so client confidentiality is important. Must be native English speaker, C-level experience with media background preferred. London location preferred.
Timeframe: delivery is of the essence of the contract; looking for this to be carried out over this next week for Tuesday 2nd December return to Dropbox.
Please indicate what you feel the total time taken and price for the job will be.
