Hi,
I am looking for a design for a large common cathode LED matrix consisting of 11 columns and 84 rows, which can be programmed with an ARDUINO UNO (or mega),
I was thinking about using 11 shift registers tall x 2 shift registers. The 11 tall could be TPIC6C595 to sink current from cathodes going across the display, while the 2 across would control P-channel MOSFETs to source current one column at a time to the anodes of each column.
But i have limited knowledge of electrical engineering,
Would you have an Idea of how much the design of this would cost?
