Our company is experiencing fast growth and we are looking for a multi-talented person to support our customers and related sales/marketing efforts. This is an extremely important customer service position and we are looking for someone with a strong technical customer service background and interest in making a difference via education. This is a full-time, W2 salaried, work from home, position
Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility is to keep our customers happy and drive usage of our subscription based product so they renew yearly (i.e. customer retention). The specific responsibilities include:
Customer Service: Provide email, phone, and/or chat based support to our customers (account login issues, import student/teacher account CSV files, etc.). Document all interactions in CRM.
Web Based Training: conduct weekly webinars and develop/oversee best practices videos/webinars
Sales Support: Support our inside sales and reseller partners (e.g. answer questions, forward lead/quote requests), process purchase orders and requests for quotes, do pre/post sales demo/training, etc.
Other: Help with software testing, conduct research projects, evaluate 3rd party products, etc.
Requirements
Available to work 8am - 4pm ET.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
Excellent professional and interpersonal oral and written communication skills needed in English -- for email and phone based support. IMPORTANT: Since we are in the literacy business with teachers as our main users, your English writing skills must be close to perfect.
Good listener, polite, effective time manager, self starter, focused, and most of all, patient in dealing with customers.
A very tech-savvy background with hands-on working knowledge of Windows/Mac OS X/iOS, CSV/Excel files, office software (preferably Google Drive and MS-Office), etc. Knowledge of Internet technologies (e.g. FTP) is a plus.
Must have a quiet home-office area, modern computer with webcam, good Internet connection, and the ability to work the required hours with some flexibility of after hours if/when needed.
Prior experience working with a CRM (e.g. Salesforce) and/or selling is a big plus!
