Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the website: -
Description of requirements/features: I've attached an image of a page I composed using a modified version of Visual Composer (via the Salient theme). Though I have not found a solution to what I am attempting to achieve.
The fruits images are in one row, and when clicked they drop down to their own respective rows with information. I want to make the first row with the fruit images sticky. So when a user scrolls down the page or drops down to another row, the fruit row stays at the top of the page, though shrinks to allows users to read content. It would be similar to a resizing header, but maintains all functionalities and images.
Extra services needed: Customization
Specific technologies required: Knowledge of Wordpress CMS and Visual Composer
Extra notes: I added the following code into the page’s CSS, but it lifts the entire row above other content. It achieves the purpose of the row remaining on the screen, but it loses its place on the page and covers other content.
.sticky-content {
position: fixed;
top: 120px;
width: 100%;
left: 0;
z-index: 10000;
}
I would like for the row to stay in it’s place on the page, but when scrolled past, it shrinks and stays at the top similar to a header and the page submenu.
Thanks in advance!
