Lottovate are looking for a Fluent English and Norwegian speaker to help us write and transcreate copy for our game UNICEF-lotteriet which is a lottery game supporting UNICEF in Norway. There would be 5-10 hours of work a week available.

Lottovate and UNICEF launched Norway’s first online-only charity lottery – UNICEF-lotteriet. This exciting new product was a world first for UNICEF and will provide a new and innovative way of generating funds for the charity and the good causes that they support with around the world.
Officially launched in November 2017, Lottovate is now looking for a freelance Creative Writer and Transcreator to help create winning copy for UNICEF-lotteriet. This newly created position offers an exciting opportunity for someone to hone their creative writing and transcreation skills, and helping Lottovate create a better world through lottery.
About the role
Reporting to the in-house editorial department, the Creative Writer and Transcreator will help create and transcreate online and offline copy for UNICEF-lotteriet. The content will be mainly B2C, and adhere to an established style guide, tone of voice and master glossary.
The role is perfect for a creative, flexible wordsmith who wants to be part of helping UNICEF-lotteriet succeed in the Norwegian market. You will be able to write and transcreate copy for online and offline marketing material, articles, social media, emails and more, in addition to various ad-hoc requests.
The role is home-based, but an on-boarding meeting and occasional meetings might be required.
The role is paid hourly at £12 per hour. It is estimated that there will be 5-10 hours of work per week.
Upon being hired, the start-date would be close to immediate.

• You are passionate about your trade – a product is nothing without good copy
• You speak and write Norwegian and English at a native level
• You have great attention to detail, with an ability to take each task through to completion
• You are an approachable team player with collaborative mindset
• You are flexible and driven, and take pride in a job well-done
• You have a background within writing – be it localization and/or editorial work
