Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are a small startup about to produce an exclusive range of garments and we are looking for graphic design support us by assisting with a very simple graphic design task. You will need to be conversant in Photoshop and Indesign.
SCOPE OF WORK
Simply put, you will create layered PSD files of a garment and its patterns (pattern as layers) so that we can colour in the layers!
First up you will create the outline of the garment in Photoshop. Next, you will apply a pattern we supply, (as a file, PDF, picture or image) and you would break this into layers that we can adjust, in order to create colour variations. We would then approve or adjust aspects of it, i.e. the pattern scale for example, and then you would provide the final PSD files.
This scope of work here, is limited to applying patterns we supply onto a garment, and breaking the pattern elements into separate layers in Photoshop. We are not asking for your own design or patterns but we are asking for creative input in applying patterns to our garments, and future projects may call upon your garment graphic design skills more comprehensively.
To Note: The PSD file layers will need to be labelled accurately,
SCOPE IN DETAIL
Initially we have 6 patterns: 1.Zig zag or chevron, 2. stripes, 3.stars, 4. Floral 5 geometric 6 Preppy
YOUR RESPONSE
Please provide examples of pattern and or fashion design work you have created using Photoshop or Indesign that demsonstrate your skill, accuracy and attention to detail.
Please cofnfirm you can supply the finished files in both PSD and Indesign formats.
Please supply also a time estimate and cost.
Kindly confirm availability in March.
