Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
We are looking for a freelance/contract Flash developer to develop a number of simple mathematical tests in Flash.
Tests are aimed at school children studying the current UK curriculum.
There are 18 tests representing simple mathematical concepts such as fractions, decimals, ratios, angles, symmetry, probability and more. Each test will consist of 5 questions testing different aspects and difficulty levels of each concept.
Where applicable questions will be graphically interactive to help children work out answers and understand concepts. Whilst the principal of each question is defined and the answer finite, you will be responsible for conceptualising and creating the interactive portion of the question in the first phase. After this, we expect there to be one revision of each question to refine it based on feedback we will provide.
You should also be able to time the tests as they are completed or impose a time limit.
To prevent cheating and learning of answers, answers must vary so you will need to be able to either generate questions randomly or define a high number of possible questions/asnwers.
We require each test to be delivered as a stand alone file. There is no need to create any back-end or management of the test outside of the test itself. The only output requirement is for the results of each test to be passed to a predefined JavaScript function. These results will consist of overall score for the test and time taken to complete (where applicable).
When commissioned you will be provided with full details of each test to work from and any other spec. required.
We require delivery of the project within 4-6 weeks of commission.
The winning contractor/freelancer will not only provide a competitive price but demonstrate a history of creative Flash work and skill.
Whilst the lion's share of the work could be carried out remotely, it will be useful for the winning contractor/freelancer to be able to attend development meetings in the London area.
