Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Hello,
We are hoping to add 3 to 5 new team members that can help with creating strong titles for the wide variety of products that we sell. We have been operating with a team of 4 staff that have been doing this work for us for the past 3 years, and we hope to grow this team by adding a few additional long term hires.
The primary work consists of the following steps.
(1) Open the Product Page from a list in the Microsoft Excel spreadsheet (URL for the product will be available to copy and paste).
(2) Change the title to a better title by briefly reviewing the product page closely to determine good keywords and a good title
(3) Move onto the next Product and repeat.
The typical amount of time to spend per title (for an experienced Title Creator) is 1.5 to 2 minutes.
If you are interested in applying then please do a brief review of the instructions and attempt to create 5 or 10 good titles based on tab 1 in the attached file. It doesn't need to be perfect! But it will help us see that you have a good eye for quality keywords and good English skills.
A more detailed list of instructions is included in the attached file.
A video tutorial is also available at: http://youtu.be/5Q6AMhya3NE?hd=1 (or in tab 2 of the attached file)
The detailed list of instructions are included in the help tab of the attached file, and will be included each time we send you a new batch to work (usually we send about 2,000 items each time we send a batch).
This is a great job for someone who needs a flexible schedule (work can be any time, day or night) and enjoys working in a spreadsheet for many hours at a time. This is also a great job for someone who knows a lot about online shopping and a wide variety of American products.
- Our team members are hardworking and good with attention to detail while working a list in a spreadsheet.
- They have very strong English skills and are generally familiar with shopping online, American Products, and American brands.
- If you already have experience writing Titles and Descriptions on Amazon or other Ecommerce sites, that is an excellent background for this job.
But, if you consider yourself knowledgeable of what keywords to use in a good title, and are generally a good writer (and fast working in a spreadsheet) you will be a good candidate!
If you (or your team members) are not very fluent in English, then it will be very difficult to choose strong keywords for the titles. So please only apply if you have excellent English. Again, you will only find this project worth your time if you are very very fluent in English.
If you would like to try to become a team member, just let us know and you can review the instructions and do a trial sample of 5 to 10 items in the attached file (see tab titled "Product File").
We only want to hire people that are interested in a long term role with us. We want you to work 20 to 40 hours per week if possible, though it is flexible.
We will be paying from $3 to $10 per batch of 40 titles completed, depending on your skill level. We usually start out around $4 or $5 per batch and then increase the rate as you get more experience (up to as high as $10 per batch). If you are highly experienced in writing titles or have exceptional English and title writing skills, we may start you off at a higher rate. Once you become experienced, you will find that you can create about 40 to 50 good titles per hour. Starting out, you will probably create around 30 per hour.
We measure your sales on a quarterly basis and then we use that to determine the raise. For our current team members, they usually complete about 40 to 50 items per hour so it works out to an hourly pay (though it may take you a few weeks to get fast enough to reach that speed).
Just let me know if you have any questions or if you want to have a quick chat to answer any questions before trying to do the work.
Thanks for your interest!
