Estimated project duration: less than 1 week
General information for the website: vTiger 6.2.0 CRM
Database management system (DBMS): MySQL
Description of requirements/features: We use vTiger for client support and require a way to directly edit the password used by clients to access the portal. This is available in the database and created automatically when an account is created but currently there's no way to edit it.
We would like you to add an additional field to the contact details screen so we can create or edit the password directly.
We anticipate that this field will show in the contact details module and the block named "Customer Portal Information" as per screenshot.
*** Due to the sensitive client information stored on our CRM system we will not be able to allow access to it. You will develop this locally and we will upload ourselves. ***

It's built into vTiger.
Login as an admin > go to settings > Manage users
1) Then click on the users name
2) top right you will now see a button labelled change password
No need to post this job for something built into vtiger.Marcus S.17 Aug 2016That's actually for system users and not portal users as the job states. There is no password edit feature for portal users.
Thanks for replying anyway.
