Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
as per discussed
this is the itinerary for the continued progress with this project
>fix the servo functionality
>servo reacts as per my requirements ie it opens and closes to maintain flow control using the pid cycle and set point......in a fast manner ie as fat as the servo can manage ( i can adjust the how long it takes the servo to get there delay in the code later)
>have adjustment points or trims for servo both closed and fully open positions so i can trim the servo dependent on application
>get rid on one touch as its not working out as expected make use of 4 individual buttons as follows
menu/toggle between selections to be altered..
up and down for the values...
back button to return to main page and back to main menu from a sub menu
and for the set point to be adjusted form the main screen using aforementioned up and down buttons without needing to enter the menu screen this was already requested but not working due to one button?
>have the set point in the menu system correspond to the set-point in the menu ie after the conversion from bar to psi have the menu set-point correspond to the working main screen set point value
>also add the function for water meth injection so similar to the pid cycle as boost increases say from 14psi the dusty cycle will increase from a set span in aforementioned menu options (add this one) so say from 14psi its starts at 10% and through a span of say to 40psi it increases duty cycle in relation to boost so as it reaches a set max span in this example 40psi it will be at 100% so within that range it will increase linearly in duty cycle
or if it is not possible have 5 steps in the menu say step one at 14psi it will be at a duty cycle of 10% and the next step 30psi it will then jump up to duty cycle of 35% so on so forth and have both the step be adjustable and the duty cycle ad this to its own sub folder called "water injection"
>if possible add auto tuning pid ie it tunes the pid values after a few attempts starting at low values gradually tuning up as not to overshoot by itself literature here http://brettbeauregard.com/blog/2012/01/arduino-pid-autotune-library/
this will be the priority feature to work
> also if possible change the font to be something more pleasing you can advise if this is possible or what selection i have ? something less block like more modern
>also in the menu the boost bar graph is active and it looks strange if that could be made inactive while in menu that would be good and when in menu if we could have next to boost boss have the currant boost value in same size text as the boost boss header ? not pivotal with he boost reading next to boost boss but would be nice
