Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
Estimated project duration: Ongoing
Num. of articles: 1/week (average)
Words per article: Up to 800
Blog/website url: www.hydraulicsonline.com
Information for the blog/website: Worldwide distribution of hydraulic equipment and systems
Topic: Real case studies showcasing our work and abilities
Tone: Formal/Professional
Outline & Structure: Hydraulics Online has a rapidly-growing, global customer base ranging from hobbyists and "one-off" users through to major PLCs and original equipment manufacturers (http://www.hydraulicsonline.com/our-customers); it’s actually hard to think of an industry or corner of the world where we haven’t been involved to date.
As an ISO 9001 accredited organisation we are genuinely passionate about delivering first class customer service within a culture of continuous improvement. The feedback that we consistently receive from our customers is that we are different to many of our competitors; we really do "know our stuff" - we "don't just shift boxes". http://www.hydraulicsonline.com/category/testimonials
The successful applicant will be responsible for:
- remotely interviewing selected (english-speaking) customers, against an agreed framework of questions, to obtain feedback on our service;
- writing up the resultant case studies to create engaging online content, showcasing our abilities and the value added to our customers.
We're really excited about the wealth of new content that we know can be created from our customerbase - we just need the right person to help us unlock it all. Is that you?
Extensive research needed: no
Extra notes: Take a look at us online, particularly in our "About Us" section and pages, and if you like the sound of working with us, or would like to find out more, then we'd love to hear from you!

Hello Helen,
Have you got an idea of how many customers you want interviewed and the length of time it will take for each one? Thanks.Helen B.20 Apr 2017Hi Julia,
Thanks for your interest.
We've never tried this before, and there will arguably be a backlog of customers that we could approach to start with, that could easily create, say 10 case studies to get us started, but on an ongoing I would want us to be able to publish one new case study a week. Again, caveated by the fact that we have not done this before, I would envisage phonecalls and interviews would take 5/10 minutes.
