Hi,
I have a social enterprise that helps milk producers connect with consumers directly. We are first starting with fresh milk, to be sold through milk vending machines in Nashik. We are looking at a front-end system in the form of a chatbot that can transfer the data to accounting backend, e.g. www.reachaccountant.com and also extract the required information to check credit balance of a buyer before allowing the machine to make a sale.
reachaccountant has informed me that if we give them our API, they will integrate them in their system for us.
The chatbot, we anticipate, would have to perform the following tasks (along with some questions we are not clear about)
+ Register new buyers / checkin registered / returning buyers (Where will be store this information)
+ Identify the vending machine (Where do we store this information) based on QR Code pasted on vending machine.
+ Retrieve the product names available in the machine with price (Will be input by the supplier from his front end)
+ Inform the buyer the products and prices (Product & Prices updated by seller)
+ buyer selects the product name and inputs / selects quantity
+ Chatbot checks availability of adequate credit with backend
+ if adequate, instructs machine to dispense milk quantity
+ Amount of purchase, material and quantity, location, date and time is conveyed to the backend for inventory and accounting purposes
+ Sends a confirmation text message to the buyer and 3 other stake holders.
I have shared the complete concept. I am expecting delivery of first 2 vending machines within a couple of days, which will be managed manually for the time.
Kindly advise if you would like to get your hands dirty with this interesting project. How long will it take to complete this project.
