Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking for artwork to be designed for my upcoming EP.
This will need to include a front and back cover, as well as a design for on the CD itself (I will send template files if needed).
I would like the EP to have a bright, countryside theme to it with an 8-bit style landscape. I have attached an example front cover that I have quickly come up with using images from Google to give you an idea of what I am after.
I would like the front cover to have a similar look to the example I've provided, with an 8-bit city skyline in the background, a bright sky filled with clouds and birds and a grassy cliff edge in the foreground. On this grassy cliff edge I would like to include a cartoonised, 8-bit version of myself (see attached example) playing with my dog (a fluffy goldendoodle), with an 8-bit acoustic guitar standing up against the tree. I have quite a unique guitar called a Luna Vista Wolf (please Google) which ideally I would like stylised as an 8-bit guitar for this, but I understand this might be too complicated.
The EP will also need to include my name 'Patch Bawn' and its title 'better than that'. I'd like these written in a handwritten, hand-drawn format, in lowercase writing (as shown on the example cover). The font I used on the cover I made myself was called 'Coffee and Tea'.
The back cover will need to be a continuation of the front cover, carrying on with the 8-bit landscape theme. This won't have me, my dog and guitar in though, but will need to have the track list and copyright information included - I will provide this to you once I've accepted a proposal.
On the CD itself I'd like something simple yet effective, like the sky with some birds flying in it, or the 8-bit skyline during a different time of day (i.e. sunset or something). This will also need to have my name and the album's title included.
I've also attached an example of another person's EP I like the look of, to give you an ideas about colours, style, etc.
I will also need to use the EP's front cover for iTunes, Spotify, etc, so this will need to be a resolution of 300dpi. In essence, I just want it to look as similar to the cover I've produced, but without the little girl in it and at a much better quality - I'm excited to see what you come up with!
Let me know if there's anything else you'll need! I'll look forward to receiving your proposals!
