Our company is a network of select freelance consultants who deliver first class programmes for blue chip clients. We now need a few key business development professionals to drive our network further forward.

Though we will provide comprehensive induction talks, sales materials and very high quality bid and pre-sales support, we expect these professionals to just get on with the job of hunting down and initiating contacts and delivering business with purpose, focus and determination. (These are not sales planning or managerial roles).

Experienced candidates may also be provided with leads from our existing freelance introducers.

Tasks:

*Working to find potential clients with programme requirements we could deliver

*Build our introduction network further by partnering with Recruitment Agencies as introducers

*Researching potential client organisations

*To develop a comprehensive understanding of potential client consultant and project requirements

*Deliver first class consultancy presentations and close project assignment contracts.

*Management Consultancy sales or IT Solutions sales experience
* A black book of senior corporate contacts, within the UK or overseas


Location

Most of the work will be from home but the role would involve giving presentations and holding business development meetings across the UK, though most are likely to be in the South-East.


Hours & Role Type

* Successful candidates will be offered full time positions.

*Renewable 1 year Contract or Ad hoc basis, depending upon candidates situation


Remuneration

*Basic: £25K - £50K depending upon experience and quality of contacts. Only those candidates with a good number of existing corporate contacts will be offered rates at the higher end of the spectrum.

*Commission: 10% of all consulting revenues received. So a £1M project will earn £100K commission. There is no upper limit on commission, so very able candidates will be able to earn very high commissions by winning larger corporate programmes.
