I would like to take financial budget data and visualise it through a web page for people to interact with. There are over 1000 bits of financial data and it needs to be viewed in the following ways
1. In total for one year (Mar 10 - Apr 11) by 9 divisions as headings
2. By month (12 months)
3. By GL code (there are approximately 100 codes)
4. By division and team (9 divisions and approx 30 teams)
The data visualisation should allow a combination of these, ie you can view by team and then expand by month and then expand again by GL code for each team if necessary.
Ideally it would also allow comments on each bit of data so someone can query - why have we got this? and someone can answer - because we need it!
I don\'t mind which programming language is used to do this. The reason for the project is to share budget data with an organisation of 800 people so they can query why things are being spent where they are.
