Description of support work: About the Role
We are searching for a passionate part-time bookkeeper and office manager to support our founders in the running of the books for the business. This will include preparing the Rise Art accounts on a weekly basis, structuring commission statements/general payables, managing employee contracts, IP agreements, inventory stock lists and general office management. The right candidate must have strong analytical skills, experience in bookkeeping for a small and medium sized business, in multiple currencies and tax requirements. The ideal candidate will also show enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced, dynamic and challenging early stage technology venture. We are looking for someone who is self-sufficient and is eager to take the initiative and ownership of the day to day bookkeeping and office support for the company.
Responsibilities
Work with the operations team to process seller payments and prepare commission reports.
General day to day bookkeeping, processing incoming invoices, etc.
Reconcile Gift Cards, and Inventory across the stock book.
Process one off sales invoices for corporate and trade accounts
Manage logistics and paperwork for new employees, IP agreements etc.
Other General Office support for key business activities
Requirements
University degree, in Accounting or similar with relevant accreditations
Part time availability, initially 2-3 days/week, with flexibility to increase
Experience with accounting software, mainly with QuickBooks Online
Experience in bookkeeping, data entry and preparing financial statements
