Bookkeeper required for \'catch-up\' project & ongoing work

We\'re a social enterprise with a number of sites based in the East Midlands and have just opened a new site in Liverpool. This site is a retail shop selling furniture and employs around 20 members of staff currently.

As trade has been going for a couple of months now, it\'s time for the management to be getting reports as the director managing the new site needs assistance in the accounting area.

We need someone to a) catch up with the backlog - this will involve a bit of a brown paper bag type job to start with, ensuring all the loose ends are tied up. We then need b) which will be to keep the books of the company on a weekly basis (I guess around 5 hours per week although this obviously could change).

I have (and am part of) a finance team based in Leicester and I am in the process of getting Liverpool\'s systems up and running - so need help from someone on here! We will provide support remotely where needed but initially, I will introduce the freelancer to the necessary people in Liverpool and visit every few weeks to see how things are going.

When the systems are running, we will require some simple monthly reporting which will involve all the necessary balance sheet reconciliations and obviously accruals, prepayments where needed.

The system we will use is QuickBooks; this is to tie the site into our other group systems.

Payroll will follow but not for a few months at least.
