Kind of development: New program from scratch
Description of requirements/functionality: We currently use two cloud-based softwares for our main accounting functions (Xero), and for our team task lists (Asana). We need to have a fairly straightforward software that will pull data from each cloud to create reports, so essentially we need the software to read certain APIs of the cloud software, and pull out figures based on the data it reads. At the moment we're basically doing all of the below manually as Xero & Asana do not have the reporting functions that we require.
Functions we need:
FROM XERO:
-Xero contains invoices that have been raised by junior staff members, which are then approved by senior staff, and then sent over to clients. We need to know the figures for each "stage" of this approval.
-Each client has accounts that we balance and reconcile. There can be certain items that have not been reconciled against a clients' account, for example Client A has made 350 transactions in their account for August, though 8 are unreconciled. Some clients have several accounts. We need to know the amount of unreconciled payments for each account, by client.
-We're not sure if this would be possible; but on each transaction for a client, there is a 'discuss' box where the team will share notes related to the transaction. We need to know all the items that have something within the 'discuss' box, and all the items that do not have anything within the 'discuss' box. We're not sure if this would be possible but it would be really helpful to us if it could be!
FROM ASANA:
-We need to know the number of outstanding tasks per client, based on tags. We tag all our new client projects as such, and then by project (the client name), so we need to know figures for: Outstanding tasks per project, Outstanding tasks for projects with the 'new client' tag, and of these, how many are due today, and how many are overdue.
CMS and Admin requirements: The admin requirements will be fairly simple, we would need several logins and a dashboard with quick-links to the generation of reports, clearly labelled. Pretty company colours and logo an essential!
OS requirements: Mac OS
Extra notes: We really need this software to be foolproof as we'll rely on it heavily for management reporting and KPIs. We'd also need you to be available to us in the future if we need any further functions adding to the software!

- Can you please let us know few details or if possible please share communication details so that we can ask our queries and discuss requirements?
- On which platform you are looking to develop this software i.e. web, mobile or desktop?
- Who are the users? Do you want an client and staff functions in it?

As you require multiple logins, can I surmise that you want a web app rather than desktop one? If you do want a desktop app, would it be an advantage for it to be a cross platform one?
