Design details: "this is a civil engineering project not a 3d modelling project"
We require expert services of a civil engineer with a strong background in structural design and analysis. Fluency in using autoCAD is essential. Initial work will be corrections and modifications in existing autoCAD design files , proposing a structural design of various buildings components using the standard engineering practices .
This project requires at least 5 years of design experience . Long term work can be offered after an initial paid skill assessment . In your cover letter please mention the most complicated design and structural engineering work which you performed recently. ( we might require verification or re-evaluation of your claimed skill).
Please reply following question in your cover letter (otherwise your application will be rejected)
1) Suppose you have to coordinate and modify the CIVIL design of an electrical grid station . What kind of additional design skill you can will require as a civil engineer.
2) Can you search Wikipedia/google for electrical grid station design , see examples and demonstrate in brief interview (10 min) on how you can handle some structural design parts of the project?
The applicant should be comfortable in working through remote screen sharing tools and communicate effectively in English. Previous background in civil work of electrical power grid stations will be helpful
