Our client are a global Telepresence provider, offering Telepresence solutions to large, international companies, meeting both their small and large scale immersive video conferencing needs. Teliris also offers a full complement of virtual meeting collaboration tools to complete the Telepresence meeting experience.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Â’·Coordination of customer vendors, contractors and project management teams to build out Telepresence rooms to required standards. These standards would include HVAC, electrical, lighting, acoustic, network and AV cabling requirements.
Â’·Coordination of internal resources to ensure system requirements are clearly understood, system design proposals are submitted, networking requirements are mapped out and systems are built and shipped on time.
Â’·Monitors and performs day-to-day operations of assigned projects to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished efficiently and effectively; recommends corrective action as necessary.
Â’·Conduct weekly customer status meetings with each project team to maintain project focus, requirements and timelines.
Â’·Create and manage project plans and associated documentation for each room build.
Â’·Provide support for onsite Video Engineering team during system assembly, configuration and testing.
Â’·Complete internal and customer facing system reviews and checkouts for completed Telepresence rooms.
Â’·Coordinate with Service Department and customers to help schedule, document and ensure system issues are resolved quickly.
What do we need to be considered as a candidate?
Â’·Minimum of three years of experience in Project Management.
Â’·Good understanding of various AV technologies and/or facilities planning and coordination
Demonstrate skill in coordination of projects and resources with the ability to work independently.
Â’·Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work well with coworkers and customers.
Â’·Project management experience including the definition of project plans and the coordination of project associates for one or more projects.
Â’·Ability to travel internationally (up to 10%) by air and ground transportation to support project and relationship management requirements
Â’·Strong written and verbal communication skills.
