Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
I am looking to produce a simple prototype electronic system for a project I am undertaking but do not have the skills or time to develop it myself. The system will consist of three units: one sensing unit, an Arduino hub and a computer readout.
Sensing Unit:
This independent part will detect TILT and IMPACT (change in acceleration / g-force) using an accelerometer. It will require its own power source and a wireless output to send sensor data to the Arduino.
Sensing Unit # 2 [optional]:
Same as above, but detects TEMPERATURE and HUMIDITY using a DHT22 sensor.
Arduino Hub:
Receives data from Sensing unit/s using wireless receiver (bluetooth/RFID). Displays data from units, in real time, on a QC1602a LCD Screen.
Computer Readout [optional]:
Arduino hub sends sensor data to a computer (can be wireless or wired) which displays the data in real time in a simple form (excel/notepad/webpage...etc) and simply shows when a tolerance has been broken - eg. graphic square turns red when the sensor unit is tilted beyond 25 degrees.
IMPORTANT: Where I have written optional above I am referring to project elements which are not vital and would be discussed in person and may not be included.
I have an Arduino Uno and a number of basic components. I am only asking for programming work and some advice on component purchases and possible some assembly assistance - I do not need the hardware to be produced by the freelancer.I am open to suggestions and alterations to the proposed project which may save on time/complexity but the basic functionality of what I want to achieve is outlined above.
This project is nearing some critical milestones so I need a freelancer who can pick up the project soon and be quickly contacted through email / skype (had some bad experiences with disappearing freelancers). If you have any questions regarding the project or I have not made something clear, please feel free to contact me and I will respond ASAP.
