Description
Experience Level: Intermediate
General information for the business: Escape Room
Description of requirements/functionality: FIRST PUZZLE:
Arduino Uno
6 magnetic hall sensors (used as digital)
1 reed switch (works the same as hall sensors)
Relay Output
Reset Input
For the first step some particular objects will have to be hanged. The hangers have a spring that will slide more or less depending on weight. We use magnetic sensors
To determine the position of the spring and if the correct objects are hanged.
We need the following combination for the puzzle to be completed: sensors 1 and 6 ON, sensors 2, 3, 4, 5 OFF.
We must add a 1 second timer, so the puzzle cannot be easily cheated, so the sensors must be in the correct positions for 1 second continously for the step to be
Completed.
Once completed, Output Relay HIGH, delay 1 second and then goes back to LOW.
For the second step there is only the reed switch which must be ON for 2 seconds. Once this step is completed, Output Relay HIGH and stays like that.
Reset input puts the Relay in LOW and sends us to step 1.
SECOND PUZZLE:
Arduino Uno
3 magnetic hall sensors
Relay Output
Very similar to the first one but simpler, with a 1 second timer when all sensors are ON Relay HIGH
After completing it, if one of the sensors goes off Relay LOW (so we don’t need a reset input)
