I am a sales Development Manager for a very large insurance company. I have a database of 100+ adviser firms. Some I know very well, some I have met once and many It would be best to assume that I don't know. The proposition is unique and leading to record sales this year, which are expected to continue next year. The proposition is aimed at the retirement and pensions arena. New innovations are planned for next year too. I have been in this industry for many years but am new to this company.

I have a list of advisers by postcode and may need some contact details input & updated, this can be by spreadsheet so that I can forward on to my head office.

I am obliged to see at least 20 advisers per week, and so will need assistance to organise my diary, target individuals and put a process in place so that we saturate perhaps 20 individuals for a several weeks whilst targetting/warming up the next 20 during that time too, so that there is very fluid overlap.

You will need to arrange events; You will also need to arrange for attendees for seminars and road shows from 10 to 100+ and ensure that a process to list invitees, follow up and ensure that attendees turn up. I have a corporate day and a 200 person seminar to organise in January, the seminar is the important event at the end of January.

I am based near Southampton and Portsmouth and cover Hants & Dorset. I basically need to be out and seeing my business targets whilst the next few weeks advisers are being appointed and seminars are arranged and attendees maximised.

This is probably not a full time post but is a regular requirement, weekly.

I would like to work with someone amenable but assertive and able to build relationships. Someone focussed and an achiever that can open doors if necessary. The beauty being that these firms and contacts are in my markets.
