Hi,
We are developing an injection-moulded consumer product that will be in the form of any of several licensed Disney characters that are 15cm to 19cm tall. Each will be outfitted with a TFT LCD in the belly area (2.4 inch, no touch), a chipcorder and speaker for basic sounds, ARM Cortex-M0 SoC, 256MB Flash, battery (removable for shipping), USB charging, sensor to shake and wake the device, and Bluetooth BLE to receive commands from an iOS and Android App.
The LCD is where it all happens. It will display text, an amount in any currency, a title, battery level indicator, a line graphic that fills as a goal of a certain amount of $ is reached, and simple pre-determined animations. As user "sends" $ amounts to the device, the screen $ amount is updated.
Our App (Android and iOS) controls the device and display via BLE:
- fill in text fields to be displayed on LCD in pre-determined areas
- send commands that trigger preset animations
- swipe images that represent currency amounts that cause these amounts to sum and display on the LCD
- send monetary goal information (text and amount) for display.
In order to get our project underway, we need a prototype with embedded software asap to use for App dev and sales. Once we have this we can continue the job for PCB design, further Software dev if needed, and whatever other aspects that you specialise in.
Fee: I haven't posted anything as I've been given various estimates of time and rates. Tell me your fee and best delivery date, and mention obstacles that cause longer delivery dates. Thank you.
Looking forward.
Sincerely,
Brent
