Description
Industry: Technology
Design details: The project is to develop high level animations of ‘safety engineering disasters’ to act as input to our training courses (as case studies), interesting videos to attract users to our online site, to provide lessons learnt (act as Continuous Professional Development – CPD) for engineers alike.
Sample case studies that will need to be adapted can be found here https://nsc.nasa.gov/sfcs/ (particularly https://nsc.nasa.gov/SFCS/SystemFailureCaseStudy/Details/153 and https://nsc.nasa.gov/SFCS/SystemFailureCaseStudyFile/Download/331). We are hoping to produce many of these (we currently have a list of over 20 we would like converting).
Each video will follow a familiar theme, e.g.
- Background
- The disaster
- The Primary Cause
- The Underlying Issue
- Consequences
- Lessons for Engineers
We have created these in house ourselves, please see www.soaeng.co.uk/video for two examples of our work. The two videos are what we would like redoing. The videos must have a recognisable theme, be both animated with voice over narration and be able to make javascript API calls to update the database on the users current position in the video.
Target audience: Safety Engineers
Ideas for the visual style: Computer Graphics Animnation as in the example videos

Hello Lee,
I am very interested to do the animation for safety engineering disasters. Anyway I would like to know the style of animation you are after and also your allotted project cost? Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks a lot,

Hi I have a few questions, do you have scripts in place for each video, on average how long will each video be? Do you need voiceovers recording and do you want a quote for each video or for all of them?
With thanks,
JamesLee A.21 Jul 2016See the samples at www.soaeng.co.uk/video
They will be 5 minutes long and they all need voice overs, we will provide the scripts but they may need copywriting.James S.21 Jul 2016Hi Lee thanks for the response, what budget are you looking at for these videos?
Thanks,
James
