Hi,
Attached is an SQL script which aggregates nominal ledger information from a database for Profit& Loss and Balance Sheet reporting.
The table that it references at is also attached (NL_A CCOUNTS_TABLE.CSV).
It is supposed to aggregate Period 12 and Period 13 (Period 13 being an adjustments column), yet the reality is that when I import using the stored procedure the information contained in the Period 13 columns (for Last Year, Current Year, Next Year & Budgets) does not get aggregated.
I was under the impression that it already did this, particularly when I have looked and seen lines of code such as this:
SET @PERIODCOUNT=0
SET @varYear1='C'
SET @varPeriod1=1
if @PS_PERIOD=13
SET @PS_PERIOD=12
However, when I recently tested it the values in the following columns were not added:
NTURNOVER_C12 (cell BN2 in NL_ACCOUNTS_TABLE - 100,000 value)
NTURNOVER_C13 (cell BO2 in NL_ACCOUNTS_TABLE - 100,000 value)
The aggregate value pulled through was only 100,000 instead of 200,000.
So I'm looking for an SQL expert who can quickly understand and amend the script. It's not really a major job - perhaps even just 15 minutes work or maybe 1-2 hours work for the right person who understands accounting software.
