We provide web-based document management systems but has been asked to supply to a customer who wants to host and run one in-house. They currently run a Windows and we considered running on a Windows server via IIP but this proved too messy and they want to acquire their own Linux server. We at our company do not have the expertise to assist them in this aspect of the project and are looking for a suitably qualified person to:

1.Give the customer’s IT people a tele-conference overview of what is involved in running an in-house Linux server.

2.Advise on acquisition of suitable hardware including any mods to the physical network.

3.Provide on-site assistance with implementation.

4.Provide on-site advice and training to IT staff in all aspects of ongoing operation with particular attention to backup.

5.If considered appropriate, provide ongoing support.

Candidates are invited to submit proposals including cost estimates. It is essential that reference sites for successful LAMP installations can be provided.
