General information for the website: Unique distributed web application (SaaS & tablet) for lighting sector, full lifecycle suppoort for energy assessment, lighting design and commissioning
Kind of development: Customization of existing website
Description of every page/module: Looking for experienced full stack developer to help build a number of extensions to the core PHP system, which will also involve database design and build experience.
The first modules are:
analysis / reporting (4 reports)
dynamic proposal build using merge fields (user defined templates using html editor, saved for later use)
Description of requirements/features: Unique, disruptive application for the lighting sector that was launched Feb 2016. Cloud based, SaaS for energy efficiency, electrical and lighting design market. Built using Zend 2 PHP framework, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS 3.
The tablet apps are built using Intel XDK and fonegap, but looking to move to native apps in next 12 months to mobile experience a serious plus.
Looking for experienced full stack developer to help build a number of extensions to the core PHP system, which will also involve database design and build experience.
We have established a strategic partnership with a network of lighting industry veterans /; heavyweight who share our vision to transform the lighting industry as society transitions to LED and IoT, with lighting spearheading the way. This is a highly innovative application that we believe will help transform the way that lighting is currently sold within the EU and beyond, and are already getting significant industry PR on what we are aiming to do.
We believe that this offers an exciting opportunity to work with our company and to grow with us, joining at a time that we just released the first version of our software after 2 years of development. The software is fully functioning, and commercially viable product - we have just started actively promoting it and are already seeing significant industry interest and uptake.
CMS and Admin requirements: Zend 2
Intel XDK / fonegap
Magento experience would also be a plus.
Extra services needed: Customization, 3rd party integration, Optimization, Security
Extra notes: Ideally you will work or live in Dorset or neighbouring counties as we are based in Bournemouth, UK.
We are happy to work with an individual or organisation further afield after an initial knowledge transfer and on-boarding period that will take 4-5 days.
An interest in energy efficiency, green Issues or lighting would be a plus.
We are looking for a long term relationship and have defined a programme roadmap for the next 18 months.
