Description
Experience Level: Expert
Estimated project duration: 1 - 2 weeks
I am looking for someone who is demonstrably experienced in delivering a well above average audit, Not only will I require a report and copies of the source audits but also a run verbal presentation/run through of its findings. The candidate needs top rated written and verbal English skills and be able to provide me with a sample report.
It says "Advanced Technical SEO Audit" and I want to empahisise that this what I require. This means that giving me a standard report from GoogleTestMySite, MOZ, Website Auditor, Raven Tools, Screaming Frog, Google WMT will not be sufficient. By all means use these as source data but I think that it will require something more like "Deepcrawl" with then a well constructed written report which highlights in detail - the issues, the impact of the issues, what can be done about it and a recommended plan of improvement. I will also require a grading (to be agreed in discussion with you) with an amount of effort required high, medium, low to fix; an estimated level of investment (hours of work ideally or high/medium/low to implement); and the expected benefit detailed with a rating of high/medium/low).
The site will need to be benchmarked against competitors to be able to identify best practices.
This will require some hours of work so I expect that to be reflected by the proposal. This is not a cheap and cheerful audit.
As a rough idea this would be the structure of the report (again I am happy to discuss this with you)
What is an SEO-friendly website?
1. Optimized Website Architecture
Components of on-site SEO
Optimization from the perspective of Google
2. Creating Your Information Architecture

Site information architecture
Creating your site architecture
HTTP vs. HTTPS
Site maps
3. Managing Your URLs
URL structure
Canonical URLs
Pagination
HTTP status codes
Mobile and desktop friendly
4. Optimizing Your Content Structure
Site tags
Term Frequency–Inverse Document Frequency (TF-IDF)
Image filenames and alt attributes
Duplicate content issues and resolutions
5. Introducing Structured Data
Structured data
Schema.org
6. Technical Makeup
Site speed
JavaScript and the DOM
Critical rendering path
HTTP/2
Progressive web apps
Conclusion
Next steps
I know that this is very specific but there is some flexibility to this and I would be happy to discuss it with you. I will want to see examples of work that you have done which meets this brief as much as possible. I also need someone that I can speak to/easily communicate with.
