I'm currently seeking an administrative and marketing assistant to work with me on a variety of client accounts. The job will largely involve adapting current content, writings, talks, and videos into digital content including blog posts, memes, press releases, email newsletters, and news items for client websites and social media channels. I'm looking for an avid and sophisticated consumer and user of social media - someone with an understanding of what makes social content engaging on various platforms.
I ideally need someone who can work business hours during Pacific Standard Time - 9 am to 5 pm so candidates in the US preferred.
Key responsibilities:
• Help monitor, grow, and enhance clients' social media presence on platforms including Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
• Assist with editorial calendar management and outreach
• Assist with social media metrics reporting on a weekly/monthly basis, utilizing tools such as Facebook Analytics
• Monitor other digital channels including Reddit, Quora and Google Alerts for mentions
• Stay on top of emerging trends and news about social media, the major online social networks, and major influencers
• Constantly consider creative ways to adapt content to emerging platforms
• Provide support to people accessing clients' content online
Key Capabilities

• A strong interest in Communications and desire to learn about this field
• Even-keeled, resourceful, adaptable; comfortable with the zigzags and fast pace of small business
• Strong writing skills, able to be both professional and kind

• Conscientious, careful about details, used to functioning in a professional environment
• Able to take direction and grind through tasks as well as work independently
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Solid working knowledge of marketing/social media
• A plus: some knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, and InDesign
