Exciting start-up company with great prospects is seeking a real team player to undertake this crucial role. Working within a small team, the Admin Assistant/PA will have varied duties and be pivotal in the smooth running of the office, as well as undertaking some sales and customer service.
Main duties include:-
• Providing administrative support to CEO and 1 other
• Managing incoming correspondence, emails & telephone calls
• Processing prospect/client enquiries
• Offering sales support, including preparing mail shots, presentations,
order processing and making follow-up calls to prospective customers
• Web research, lead generation and data mining
• Collating & despatching information packs
• Handling routine HR admin duties
• Diary management
• Arranging travel (domestic & international)
• General office administration including:-
- Monitoring & ordering supplies
- Preparation of purchase orders and maintain PO system
- Arranging meetings
- Booking meeting rooms
- Arranging catering
• Ad hoc admin duties
Successful candidate will possess:-
• The ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written & verbal
• Organised approach
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills
• A pro-active, can-do attitude
• An adaptable approach
• Excellent attention to detail and follow-through
The role is offered to a contractor for a period of 3 months, however, there may be opportunity to turn this into a permanent employee status in due course. Hours could be part-time, but the successful applicant must be available to work 5 days a week at our offices in Uxbridge.
